From Forest to Glass

 

In Early 2020 The Campari Academy Training Program returned to the bartenders of Australia to understand all things Wood and Time in their FROM FOREST TO GLASS.

The session was brought to life with the assistance of Wild Turkey, Master’s Keep and Longbranch which saw bartenders being exposed to the history of oak, it’s journey from the forest to the cooperage and a look inside the barrel with its effect on ageing spirits.

American Whiskey was brought to the forefront in this session through the Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Rye whiskies coming out of the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY and the influence of our Master Distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russel over the final product.
